Background
C&S Welding Inc. was founded by Steve Crichton, a seasoned industry professional with over 39 years of experience in oilfield, refinery, and drilling operations. His career began with ten years at Chevron in production, working on offshore platforms and urban drilling sites, before advancing into welding and supervisory roles across major industry companies.
In 2006, Steve partnered with his son Ian to establish C&S Welding Inc., combining decades of field expertise with a commitment to dependable, high-quality service. Since then, the company has supported Warren E&P Inc. in Wilmington, CA with ongoing maintenance, facility upgrades, and large-scale fabrication projects including well cellars, threaded piping systems, carbon and stainless steel piping, instrumentation systems, and water disposal infrastructure.
Over the years, C&S Welding has completed installations and maintenance work on a wide range of critical equipment such as gas scrubbers, pumps, heater treaters, vapor recovery units, water heaters, free water knockouts, sump systems, and clarifier pits. The company has also partnered with respected industry clients including E&B Natural Resources, Angus Petroleum, Brea Canyon Oil, Bridgemark Corp., United Rentals, The Source Group, Nabors Drilling USA, CRC, Caltrans, and others throughout Southern California.
